Other then Hutchison, we aren’t getting much production from our WR, luckily we got a great group of TEs.... Milton been injured but was hoping to see some others step up this year .... Thoughts?

I think johnnie Lang has kinda been moved to a WR. Doing a nice job with his short passes also.

Shaw was a pleasant surprise last year. I thought he would have a big year but hasn't happened.

I was hoping we would see Darien Porter some this year. No WR snaps that I know of, but he was the first guy to the punter on the block last night.

Daniel Jackson looked solid early. I think he is hurt though.

We need Milton back healthy.

I wonder how many targets they had last night, it couldn't have been many. That first pick is on Brock's underthrow but Scates(?) didn't put up much of a fight for it.

Definitely not producing like years past, but it is a mixed bag as to why. Hard to get many WR's on the field when our best players come from the 3 TE set. Also, we need to get Breece 25 carries a game.

We're going to need Tarique back or another WR to step up if we plan on finishing 8-2. The past three weeks teams are really starting to tighten the box against us and teams with better CB's and Safeties are going to give us fits like Baylor did (and they aren't who I'm referring to).

We get Tarique back and watch out this team is a real contender to win in Dallas

Milton's loss has been huge. Somebody at the wr spot needs to step up if we are going to compete for a B12 championship. It seems to me the wr are not creating any separation.

GO CYCLONES!!!

Agreed. Did see Porter on offense for at least a couple snaps, though.

On Kene's kick return in the 3rd I saw Porter running with him stride for stride, that guy has got some speed.

I do agree using Lang on the WR screen passes is a nice wrinkle and addition to the offense. I say that because that play will continue to be open when teams crash in on the middle expecting runs to Breece, have to make defenses pay for that.

They definitely need some more help. Whether that's Lang, or letting Kene play some WR or moving Tampa to offense. Of course, the best solution is to get Milton back, but I don't know how realistic that is. Disappointed in Scates, Shaw, Wilson and the fact that they don't seem to trust Porter yet. Actually, getting Daniel Jackson back would help too.

Any clue on his status? All I’ve heard is he still isn’t practicing yet as of the middle of last week.

Looking at the roster, we're younger at WR than I realized. Akers is a RS-Sr, Milton a RS-Jr, Hutchinson is a Jr. That's it for upperclassmen. If everyone else continues to learn, WR could be a strength next year - and we'll need then to be assuming we lose our 3 starting TEs.
