I'd put them up with ISU, UT and Kansas today. They have bigs that OU does not, plus a potentially great point guard and lots of depth. They just manhandled UCONN.
WVU looked good.
Hope KSU can make up for the egg they laid at LBSU and win some games in Maui.
oSu v. oSu was a whole lot of orange. Thankfully, the right fruit prevailed.
ISU underwhelmed, frankly. A lot going on offensively.
Ku played a contract amendment and the result looked like it.
TCU scores 106, seriously?
I still believe WVU looks the part.
Care to elaborate, kitten?
I found ISU underwhelming. Not sure what I was expecting. But they were playing a lower-tier SEC team in, essentially, a Cyclone gym. They looked small. I thought I'd see a transfer protecting the rim, but Georges played post a lot of the night. State's defense is always secondary to their offense. I get that. And it's early. But comparing that effort to WVU's v. UCONN, which is probably unfair, the Eeers look superior at this point in time.
I watched the 2nd half and was very impressed, their defense was suffocating. With that being said, UCONN did not look good at all and can't shoot the ball worth a ****. Still bitter we didn't beat them in the S16 last season.
I thought a brawl was going to break out towards the end. Very chippy.
As with clueless Len Elmore, you should probably not comment on things which you do not know. Last night was the first game for 2 guys. You knew that right? And you expected a seamless integration into the rotation?
At this point, how do you know UConn is as good as their ranking, or that Alabama is as bad as last year? You don't.
I found your team underwhelming. I had high expectations for them. Correct. Today, I'd say WVU is in a better place. But it's early. I made that point above.
Have fun with Arizona.
State will show up and represent the conference well.
