Looks like the 5 star SEP safety has narrowed down his final 7 schools; Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Ohio St, Iowa, Clemson, LSU, Arizona St. Thought ISU would be in the final 7 as they were one of the first to offer.
I know technically he is a legacy in terms of dad going to ISU but he didn't play football at ISU so I think there is less of a [pull. Also, some kids just want to do their own thing.Really sucks, ISU is historically the best ever, great coach, etc, etc, and we can't reel in a legacy, reminds a little of H Barnes.
In a recent interview he said one of the things he is looking for is a place that doesn't feel like he hasn't moved away to college. Also mentions he wants to go to a place with a history of putting DBs into the league.
Agree. I think his top three are the visits he has scheduled and I think OSU is easily the favorite. So based off that, it seems neither in-state school ever had much of a shot. It sounds like he wants to get out of Iowa.
In what way does McDermott during the time of Barnes' decision making resemble Campbell?Really sucks, ISU is historically the best ever, great coach, etc, etc, and we can't reel in a legacy, reminds a little of H Barnes.
Doesn't.In what way does McDermott during the time of Barnes' decision making resemble Campbell?
Yeah the situations seem nothing alike. In what way does McDermott during the time of Barnes' decision making resemble Campbell?
Agree. I think his top three are the visits he has scheduled and I think OSU is easily the favorite.
He isn't staying in state and he didn't include us on his list because he didn't want to waste our time. He really likes CMC he just wants to go blue blood. Really good kid and I hope he does wellWell that's disappointing we couldn't make the top 7 for a legacy recruit. I wonder why he wasn't feeling Ames.
He had pretty good things to say about ND. I could see him there and would prefer him to not really be any type of player in our future success if he isn't in cardinal and gold(or all black). Definitely want TOE to be eliminated from this conversation quickly.I think a different institution is the favorite, by a wide margin.
I guess it shows how much more work CMC and Company have to do to get to that lucky number "7".Wanted easier path to playing time, those 7 give him a better chance than Ames.
