From coach to QB1? It's possible for Zeb Noland: 'Son, you have the opportunity of a lifetime'
Up until last week, Noland was a graduate assistant for the Gamecocks who was working with wide receivers coach Justin Stepp.

An SEC team that was once at the pinnacle of the conference is suddenly relying on a quarterback who couldn't start at Iowa State. Let that sink in for a minute. And remember... ISU "adds no value". We are one of the most self-deprecating fanbases that I know, but we really need to be clear-eyed when these things happen. All of South Carolina's SEC money and they absolutely suck.![]()

Longest thread title ever?
Usually the point of the Stargate is to get to a far away place quickly, SelmakLongest thread title ever?
Perfect candidate for SEC football.Zeb was an early disciple of Coach Campbell and his staff. Came in and tried to step up to the plate when Kempt got hurt. Ultimately struck out and lost his job to Purdy. Then he quit on his teammates and coaches. Couldn't hack it in FCS Football. One last shot at redemption in the SEC. I think we know how this story ends.

Desktop you can hover over title, and read the OP.Indeed, but would you rather have a brief summary of an article as a long title, or actually have to click on the post to see what it was about?
Or... and stick with me here... you could put "Zeb Noland" in the header and then put "Zeb was hired as GA at South Carolina after NDSU, now in competition to be the Gamecocks' QB1 because of his extra Covid eligibility year" in the opening text box.Indeed, but would you rather have a brief summary of an article as a long title, or actually have to click on the post to see what it was about?
Didn't he stick around a while longer after losing the job to make sure Kempt was a healthy back up before he left? As I recall, he left on quite good termsZeb was an early disciple of Coach Campbell and his staff. Came in and tried to step up to the plate when Kempt got hurt. I dunno. I seem to remember him bailing out mid-season. I know for sure Park did that the year before, but I could have sworn Zeb did the following season as well.Didn't he stick around a while longer after losing the job to make sure Kempt was a healthy back up before he left?
