The last time Iowa State failed to have an All-American was 2012. The last time before that? 1962!
Big surprise for me was Palacio sticking Kemerer. Anyone see how it happened? Looking at Palacio's resume I guess the win isn't as surprising as how he did it.

And in 2012 it was a couple of unlucky injuries that cost us an AA (Sorenson was one match short out of the 3 seed but couldn't do anything with how badly his ankle was sprained). This time it wasn't even close.
Kem was in on a shot, P defended, ended up on top with his back to Kem's front, just rolled back and Kem's shoulders were to the mat. I don't even think there was a TD awarded before the stick. Great defensive move by the guy.

P was on bottom to start second period, he does a funky side roll then switches to Peterson but instead of grabbing near leg he gets far leg and traps near arm and puts weight on top. He had the reversal and 4 count before fall. It was the second time he tried it. It was a sweet move.
Yeah I didn't see the entire thing, came in during the scramble just looked like K had a leg and then got caught. Good for you though, pretty badass recap with names of moves and everything. Wow man.
I just don't know if he can catch Nolf in the same way he got Kemerer, but you never know.

Nolf can get a bit out of position, but that's almost where he's at his best. Nickal is the same way. Almost as if they are so good, they put themselves into situations that aren't the best, and do so willingly, and try to create from there. Just so dangerous from everywhere.
Exactly...don't know how he hooked K's left arm while coming up with his right wrist as well! Not sure I've seen that version of a Peterson before.
Jud is there anyway to post a summary of everyone's team? I know I could go back through the thread but if it was a copy and paste move that would be great!
