Welcome to the 100% completely non-partisan 2020 CF Election! Members of our electorate will be attempting to elect the best person to run CF Mafia for the next year. While most of those here have the greater good in mind, a few candidates have, er, nefarious reasons for running. Every candidate hails from a state (see below map) and represents a district from the state (each state can have between 2 and 3 candidates).
Special skills
Most players will simply be "the candidate from district x in state y" but some will also have some additional skills.
Poll watcher - after each day the poll watcher will receive a breakdown of the number of innocents and the number of mafia who voted for the player of their choice (a margin of error of +/- 1 mafia will occur beginning at players who receive 6 votes)
Voting rights activist - chooses one player at night whom they want to help maintain their voting rights (this is the doctor). Cannot choose same player three straight nights.
Auditor - after day 3 can begin auditing one player per night. Similar to the poll watcher they will receive a breakdown of that player's votes from ALL prior days, but with no margin of error
Run-off electioner - this player can call for a run-off one time only. If a run-off is declared, no player is voted out that day and all voters MUST vote for one of the top 4 vote getters on the next day and all votes count (note this overrides any other vote alterations). A run-off can ONLY occur if the top voter has less than 50% of votes.
3rd party candidate - If any player finishes 3rd in voting two times overall and the 3rd Party Candidate is still alive then the 3rd Party Candidate receives any 2 of an investigation, a protect or a double-vote to be used at any time.
Early voter - must send me their vote via pm night before but also must "vote" during the day. The Early Voter votes as normal on Day 1 and beginning Night 1 sends in the next day's vote. During the day the Early Voter may vote for whomever they wish, but their early vote is the only one that counts.
Mafia
Incumbent - chooses one player at night who must vote again the next day for the player they voted during the prior day phase (that player will be notified)
Vote suppressor - chooses a "state" to suppress the vote in. The votes from voters in this state will NOT COUNT during the next day phase. Keep in mind that each mafia member also hails from a state so their vote will not count if they are from that state.

That's it. No instakills or vigilantes here. There's no murder in elections after all.
