The Boogie Monster with Kyle Kinane and Dave Stone is a fun podcast that covers a ton of these type of stories. Both of them are comedians. They used to be better at staying on topic so if you go back to old episodes there are some really good ones. They recently talked about the doc Moment of Contact about a crash in Brazil in 1996 that had a bunch of eye witnesses. If you don’t already have too many podcasts it’s worth a try.
Thanks. I'll give it a listen as I am not familiar with that podcast.

Have you ever noticed when the topic of UFOs is brought up people roll their eyes, giggle, or say "oh brother"? That may well be a carefully crafted programmed response. If there are UFOs (aliens) that is one big, meaty, scary thing to contemplate and we must be protected from that possibility (reality?).

Red Panda Koala does a masterful, historic recap and sifts through what appears to be threaded to this theme in this amazing vid:

By the way, The Report on UFOs is pretty unbiased and in the final chapter of the book, Ruppelt stated he was unconvinced about the reality of aliens behind them. He never saw anything to convince him otherwise in the many incidences he traveled widely to investigate or by personal observation.

Really worth a listen.
Ruppelt stated at the end of his book that he was not convinced UFOs were real. However, it is apparent this was a rewrite as in early drafts of his book he came to indicate UFOs as a reality! It seemed his "employer" the Airforce did not like giving the phenomenon any support and ordered him to make the change.

Interesting happenings the last couple of days. Cylindrical object with no apparent means of propulsion, not a balloon. Octagonal object, not a balloon with no apparent means of propulsion. The government not ruling out anything. It will be very interesting the coming weeks what message will come out from the government(s) about these objects.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-64620064

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/flying-objects-over-alaska-canada

I held off commenting on this as I was pretty sure the "UFOs" was some foreign balloon spy tech. And that appears now to be the case.

The ability of our technology (F-22s) to knock a "true UFO" out of the sky does not seem to be something a highly advanced alien would allow-with some seeming exceptions going by UFO literature:

-On purpose to manipulate us for some reason.

-In the late 1940s there was intense UFO activity in the SW U.S., especially in New Mexico. Radar installations were heavily used around the newly created Air Force there. The rash of UFO crashes in this area at that time was attributed to the radar somehow damaging the UFO propulsion system. Aliens corrected the problem and crashes pretty much stopped.

-Alien races "warring" and downing one another's crafts.

-Malfunctions of crafts, collisions, which may happen. as it must, no matter how advanced.

I held off commenting also as I have no idea what the objects were that were shot down (and no one else has either). I am pretty confident that we'll never hear the whole story of what was shot down as the government is still in the secrecy mode despite what they say. The fact that the objects were cylindrical and octagonal shaped is very weird however.

Debunking, questioning, and poking fun at Skin Walker and its personalities can be found here: https://nypost.com/tag/the-basement-office/

In the links, Investigative journalist Steven Greenstreet does the poking and may not come off any more believable than the Skin Walker show.

To me, he undercuts his own credibility. I have to ask then if his schtick is to act out as if an unbiased eye. Greenstreet in the end can not escape the black hole he investigates and is subtly ripped apart by the gravity of the Skin Walker mystique.

Greenstreet's "investigative humor," or whatever you want to call his style, is mostly ineffective despite all the fancy New York Post fluff of graphics and visuals. He is not any sort of expert as far as I can tell and his attacks are attempts at Occam's Razor without really seeing what is in front of his eyes to "Occamize."

And, he can not. For, his perspective is limited to not personally experiencing the stuff reported and can speak only as a non-expert blithely listening to reports and seeing inscrutable images. That's a recipe for setting back any attempts to find what's going on there...

...for instance, Greenstreet proffers Mormonism as the reason Skin Walker happenings are interpreted the way they are. Surprise, surprise they are in Utah where Mormons comprise a very high percentage of the population (and the cast of the show). If he were in Polonia, WI he could build a case for the Polish (nearly 100% Poles), or St. Lucas, IA on German Catholics (almost 100%) there. Lots more of that in the links.

Havana Syndrome appears real and mysterious.

A newly obtained declassified report prepared for the director of national intelligence by a panel of experts appears to show conclusively that "Havana syndrome" — a cluster of unexplained symptoms experienced by diplomats and government personnel abroad — is not a naturally occurring health problem.

If you are interested Episode 1 of Season 4 opens tonight at 9 and is available the next day streaming on the History Channel site: https://www.history.com/shows/the-secret-of-skinwalker-ranch

Here is a UFO/UAP video from 1995 recorded in Colorado. The object has never been identified. Debunkers do their best (worst?) and claim it is a blimp. However, if you watch the video there are several instances where the object jumps about the sky short distances. Blimps would not be capable (nor any other known craft) of this. It was said to be very large-without any usable reference size is not determinable:

At the 5:20 mark in the video, a smaller orb can be seen moving around the long object.

As for real secrets, one was revealed in the opening of the show. Travis announced that since 2019 he was part of the Pentagon's UAP Task Group. Under threat of prosecution, he could not reveal this to anyone not even the cast or producers until his retirement from the program.

Building on findings from past seasons of The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch (TSSR or SSR) episode 1 of season 4 took on these two targets:

*Doing aerial Light Detection And Ranging (LIDAR) over the Triangle.

*LIDAR was used also over a newly (at least to me) described East Field area.

Future shows to target:

*Drilling into the base of the Mesa-where unusual metal fragments were scraped from an unknown large underground body in 2021. Drilling under the Mesa will appear in future episodes with findings given then. Earlier metallic samples were determined by a University of Utah metallurgist to be an unusual alloy similar to what NASA has produced for space use.

*The trio of Kandus Linde, Tom Lewis, and Jim Morse are sent out into surrounding communities and ranches to gather experiences from locales in future reports.

--------------------

In this show, Pete Kelsey, a military tech specialist who has appeared in a few prior shows, manned the LIDAR detector. Pete was strapped and hanging out the copter, as it circled both the East Field and the Triangle.

Findings from this adventure over the East Field (this is over where the ceremonial stone spiral "portal" feature is located) a "structure" was detected only by LIDAR 300' in the air. While in the air and circling the Helicopter was pushed, and buffeted, by an unknown force. And due to some unusual reason the GPS, and other electronics, went down and the chopper had to land on the pasture grass to reset before continuing the "experiment."

Over the Triangle another feature, also detected only by LIDAR, was discovered. At first it was thought to be the LIDAR beam "ghosting" that is bouncing off Pete's feet and the copter's exterior. This was later discounted as not at all possible. Here too, the copter was pushed around by a turbulent vortex, oddly as the wind itself was not strongly evident.

Next episode there is a big night-lit drone swarm. Sounds fun.

New UFO/UAP video released:

Looks like a gray balloon sailing blissfully on the breeze. However, this is an IR camera and balloons like latex and ethylene polymer are clear and all but invisible on IR.

This "new" UFO/UAP video has been talked about for many months and has only now been released by All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office ( https://www.defense.gov/News/Releas...-of-the-all-domain-anomaly-resolution-office/ )

I really do enjoy this show.
It had such great potential but the production and a few of the characters completely blow it for me. I really wanted it to be a science-based version of Oak Island, but they've just made Oak Island v2.

My long-winded response:

With the same announcer and stylistic delivery, the backbone of Secret of Skinwalker Ranch SSR is built similarly to Secret of Oak Island. The Lagina brothers' Oak Island digging has uncovered real relics while SSR diverges by answering a mystery with enigmatic findings. It seems SSR wants to give an air of seriousness (a production decision) such as by having Bryant "AKA" Dragon wear black clothes, terminator shades, and exude gun-toting, tough guy, imagery. And too, they want to give an appearance of Scientific sophistication with lots of techie stuff. SSR sometimes takes on the allure of ghost hunting with EMF gauges and specter detectors.

I like the show and see what they are trying to do on the ranch as a TV show. It works for some people. Some of the stuff is just plain goofy, fluff, and off the wall. But then again, there was a pretty serious investigation for nearly ten years by a pack of Ph. Ds during the work of the National Institute for Discovery Science (NIDS) outfit. The NIDS crew came away with more questions than a legitimate foundation of what is operating on the ranch. As NIDS's investigation ended without a lot of answers, the new SSR TV crew has taken over as a serial entertainment production. We may not get any better answers than NIDS but now have a weekly show building drama around investigating the ranch and a platform for advertisers.

My reality took a ping-pong bounce with the release back in 2018 of the Nimitz UFO/UAP videos as real unknowns. So, I have tried to offer a forum here not only about the SSR show as-well-as resources of useful, solid works, and materials to help illustrate what this phenomenon is about. Hate it or enjoy SSR, there is something going on at that ranch.

I hate the aliens or whatever is doing cattle mutilations. I say this as the deaths still occur as indicated by this story from Salon:

S4 E2

Who's Your Data

One perplexing busy hour in four Acts:

Act I

Sky Elements company flew 200 drones in a rectangular shape upwards and experienced rapid battery drain, loss of control, and GPS distortions above the Triangle and East Field. All of these occurrences alarmed the operators of the drones as just one of these happening is very rare. To happen simultaneously seems to indicate targeting of the drones on multiple levels.

Act II

Off The Ranch Kandus Linde, Tom Lewis, and Jim Morse spoke to REZ radio announcer "Lloyd" who offered his description of a UAP observed and photographed at nearby Bottle Reservoir. The object was similar to one observed near a dying cow two seasons ago over The Ranch.

Act III

Pete Kelsey using aerial LIDAR, again, got a curious shadow of disjointed data over the Mesa exactly where a substantial subterranean metal body is thought to be. (In next week's show S2 E3 gets into investigating this by excavating and drilling.) This was interesting but not a strong case of anything in my opinion.

Act IV

A UAP appearance during the drone swarm was discussed and its image was enlarged. Its shape was ball-like, though more like a compressed dumbbell, with a dark circular spot on each rounded end. Travis's past work with the UAP Task Force gave him the opportunity to view photos of similar objects. When it was viewed in real time its brightness was the greatest of any UAP so far recorded by the SSR team.

This was a very dense show, with a lot happening. There are many things I have not mentioned, and those I have have been so in somewhat inadequate summaries.

If you can log in to watch, or re-watch, I advise it: https://play.history.com/shows/the-secret-of-skinwalker-ranch/season-4/episode-2
