My favorite part of this show is you have all of these highly educated people and they sit there and listen to the opinion of an idiot with no degrees who calls himself dragon...
Thanks. I'll give it a listen as I am not familiar with that podcast. The Boogie Monster with Kyle Kinane and Dave Stone is a fun podcast that covers a ton of these type of stories. Both of them are comedians. They used to be better at staying on topic so if you go back to old episodes there are some really good ones. They recently talked about the doc Moment of Contact about a crash in Brazil in 1996 that had a bunch of eye witnesses. If you don’t already have too many podcasts it’s worth a try.
Ruppelt stated at the end of his book that he was not convinced UFOs were real. However, it is apparent this was a rewrite as in early drafts of his book he came to indicate UFOs as a reality! It seemed his "employer" the Airforce did not like giving the phenomenon any support and ordered him to make the change.By the way, The Report on UFOs is pretty unbiased and in the final chapter of the book, Ruppelt stated he was unconvinced about the reality of aliens behind them. He never saw anything to convince him otherwise in the many incidences he traveled widely to investigate or by personal observation.
Really worth a listen.
Interesting happenings the last couple of days. Cylindrical object with no apparent means of propulsion, not a balloon. Octagonal object, not a balloon with no apparent means of propulsion. The government not ruling out anything. It will be very interesting the coming weeks what message will come out from the government(s) about these objects.

I held off commenting also as I have no idea what the objects were that were shot down (and no one else has either). I am pretty confident that we'll never hear the whole story of what was shot down as the government is still in the secrecy mode despite what they say. The fact that the objects were cylindrical and octagonal shaped is very weird however.I held off commenting on this as I was pretty sure the "UFOs" was some foreign balloon spy tech. And that appears now to be the case.
Got my DVR set to record it just in case I miss it live. The title of the thread should probably be changed to "S-4" to update the season number. If you are interested Episode 1 of Season 4 opens tonight at 9 and is available the next day streaming on the History Channel site: https://www.history.com/shows/the-secret-of-skinwalker-ranch

Over And Out Of This World
As for real secrets, one was revealed in the opening of the show. Travis announced that since 2019 he was part of the Pentagon's UAP Task Group. Under threat of prosecution, he could not reveal this to anyone not even the cast or producers until his retirement from the program.
Building on findings from past seasons of The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch (TSSR or SSR) episode 1 of season 4 took on these two targets:
*Doing aerial Light detection and ranging (LIDAR) over the Triangle.
*LIDAR was used also over a newly (at least to me) described East Feild area.
Foreshadowing future shows targets include:
*Drilling into the base of the Mesa where unusual metal fragments were scraped from a large underground body in 2022. This was not acted upon in this episode so future shows disclose findings there. This metallic sample was determined by the University of Utah metallurgist to be an unusual alloy similar to what NASA has produced for space use.
*The trio of Kandus Linde, Tom Lewis, and Jim Morse are sent out into surrounding communities and ranches to gather experiences from locales in future reports.
--------------------
In this show, Pete Kelsey, a military tech specialist who has appeared in a few prior shows, manned the LIDAR detector. Pete was strapped and hanging out the copter, as it circled both the East Feild and Triangle.
Findings from this adventure over the East Feild (this is over where the ceremonial spiral feature is located) a "structure" detected only by LIDAR 300' in the air. While in the air and circling the Helicopter was pushed, and buffeted by an unknown force. And due to some unusual reason the GPS, and other electronics, went down and the chopper had to set down on the pasture grass to reset before continuing the "experiment."
Over the Triangle was a feature, also detected only by LIDAR, was discovered. At first it was thought to be the LIDAR beam "ghosting" that is bouncing off Pete's feet and the copter's exterior. This was later discounted as not at all possible. Here too, the copter was pushed around by a turbulent vortex, oddly as the wind itself was not strongly evident.
Next episode there is a big night-lit drone swarm. Sounds fun.
It had such great potential but the production and a few of the characters completely blow it for me. I really wanted it to be a science-based version of Oak Island, but they've just made Oak Island v2.I really do enjoy this show.
