Looks like VEISHEA Bands have been announced. Sorry if this is a repost:

Headline- Trapt on Sat. Night w/ Red and Hailstorm
Friday Night- Cartel, Jamey Johnson, Straylight Run, Ludo, The Morning light, Battle of the Bands winner

Ho hum... I saw Straylight a couple of years ago at the M-shop, they were pretty decent then. Haven't heard much since. Not a real big fan of Trapt so probably bars/party time then. Not a big country guy- is Jamey Johnson any good?

Overall not too impressed but I could see how some peopel wouldn't mind seeing these bands

Jamey Johnson is ok. He has had one song that was really popular and on the radio just lately.

Who the **** are they?

Trapt is the only one I've heard of.

If you listen to any mainstream rock station you've likely heard Red. They're a pretty cool mainstream Christian progressive rock band.

Agree on the terrible location. I'm not sure what they're going for there.

Otherwise, not a bad group of bands. They seem to reach a wide spectrum of listners. I'd think about checking out Cartel if I was in town.

Red, Trapt and Cartel are all solid bands imo. Definitely a better lineup than last year.

I'm surprised the committee isn't leaning more toward folk/indie style since it is overwhelmingly popular right now with college kids. Then again, Ames has always lacked a strong music culture. I'm kind of embarrassed that Trapt is the headliner...

Cartel sings a favorite of mine....
