    Anybody an Actuary?

    If you are strong in project/product development you could try that route and have actuaries working for you. A lot more fun than crunching numbers on a computer all day. If strong in negotiations this could also be part of what you bring to a leadership role.

    Yeah, I live in one of those DW villages. The smog does suck and the dust storms are worse than whiteouts. I'd stick with Ames until you are at least 50.

    Advice needed: water in basement

    Agree with all of the above. I'd also consider knocking out some concrete flooring and putting in a pit and sump pump and hope that helps keep water from getting to the top of your flooring in the future. Did this in two places in a home we had in the 70s and had no more problems.

    My dad died today

    Very sorry for your loss. My dad passed last year; believe I miss him more as time goes on. We did a lot together; especially miss him on our Canada fishing trips. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Being from a small town and not liking English in high school means you probably don't want me to post often (and I don't). If I know what you mean on a message board I'm good; not so much at work. Not sure I used the ";" correctly. Sorry.
