Amen! It's always funny when you're talking to someone at a party and they'll go "yeah... I'm from a little town in north central Iowa. I'm sure you've never heard of it." and I say "try me".
I actually went to high school in Rochester. My mom worked up there. Bit of a drive. We lived right on the edge of the Riceville and St. Ansgar districts. Most people I know from Osage I met at ISU actually.
Wow! Small world (and small towns). Once in awhile I come across a fellow Mitchell County-an on the board. Still live in the area? I know some people from that area. The Niess's are my dad's cousins, and I'm good friends with Brian (Mike's son) Lewis.
