  • Thanks Dennis, I appreciate that very much. I didnt believe that that was the majority of people here, but it just caught me off guard because no matter what, Brittany Griner is a human being. There was no need to call the kid a creature, or predator. Just unnecessary. So I'm thinking dang what if Emiah has a bad game, what could someone come on the board and call her!! It again just caught me off guard. I came in expecting to read why she had chose not to participate in the Olympics as the best female ball player around, and instead got to read a ton of negative, and nothing negative regarding her game, or even the kids personality, but negative and cruelty just to be cruel. Again thanks for this message it goes a long way!!
    Mr. Bingley,
I have to apologize for some of the things you've seen on the boards at CF. As a diehard women's bball fan I get outraged at the outright cruelty and hatred some people feel so inclined to post. This is not the Iowa State that I know. I've received all three of my degrees at Iowa State and am incredibly proud of the institution. I suspect you've probably seen my writeups about the games here on CF (Twister Sister Summary) that I've been doing for years. I am a hard and true fan of the Sisters and can't wait for your daughter to join the team. Her experience at Iowa State will not be impacted by a few fools who use the anonymity of a bulletin board to say things they would never say to someone's face. I hope that someday I get a chance to meet you at a women's game! We enjoy your posts on CF, but I will say it has to be tough as a parent to read about your daughter or other players in a relatively uncensored environment.
    Sincerely,
    Dennis McElroy
