    Fred Hoiberg......instant excitement. Smart, been around basketball and the NBA. I believe he would be a great recruiter with the large number of great high schoolers from Iowa in the coming years (knows the spot they are in....knows the advantages of staying home)

    UNI was a terrible place for basketball when McDermott got there. They played in the UNI dome.....it was hilarious. I remember going to one of their games when it was in the UNI dome. You walked into the stadium onto the field and walked over to a bunch of wooden bleachers to watch the game...

    Post-game thread - ISU vs. Iowa

    We were outrebounded because Iowa waits for 30 seconds to shoot, while we shoot a majority of our shots within the first half of the shot clock. More shots put up equals more rebounds for the defense.
