Thinking optimistic - I'm thinking we will get 4 wins - Sorenson, Spangler, Beard and Gibson. Finch, Moreno, Cozart and Shafer will lose by decisions 133 and 141 - Iowa will get pins ISU 12 Iowa 24 Love the clones but having a hard time seeing we are any better this year than last... -

I hear Spangler wins vs Sorenson in the wrestling room and will be at 165 if he continues to beat him next year. Either one will be an AA if they can stay healthy. -

Curious...does anyone know where Brandon Abernathy (Indianola) is going. He gave gadson one heck of a time last year in the state tourney. It would be nice to snag another Iowa kid. -

Wow - I don't know about the rest of you but this was too close for comfort. I was really pleased with efforts from Sorenson, Reader, Ward (he's still holding back however) and Mayfield. Shafer is our 1 period wonder. He does amazing in the first half of the match and gets me all pumped up... -

Congrats Jon Reader! This appears to be the right weight for Johnny. He totally has donimated everyone he has wrestled so far. I think we'll start to see more of his competition not choose the down position any more because he has a 99.9 % chance of riding them the full 2 minutes...
