lol...I hear you. The business-side reality today, collegiately, and indirectly excluding the $$-side, demands Pollard's/ADs graduate kids in order to maintain scholarship-maximums without penalty.
Recruiting rules differed back when Snyder began at KSU, too. He also recruited a lot of partial qualifiers and a lot of very good athletes that were much less than stellar scholars. I was there at the time, but do not recall graduation rates. That would be an interesting factoid.
Fast-forward...

What?! You've never driven Hwy-30 west...over the mightly Missouri-Mississippi Divide at sunset...encountering one of those magical, once-in-a-lifetime, moments as crepuscular rays dance around the grain elevators east of Arcadia...?!
A lot depends on what you want to spend along with where you want to be. Consider the official team hotel. Also, check with CF and ISUAA for their hotel locations. I know some folks staying over in FTW, which is my personal preference.
It was my impression schedules were being redone to better evaluate/accommodate the new additions to the conference. It'll be interesting to see how the new commish implements his vision and direction.
I really prefer we go to Houston or San Diego. If records are close, I don't see ISU in Houston...it'll be TCU. If nothing else Texas takes care of Texas. We'll go to San Diego and WVU to NYC.
Oh, got it. He played in college where my daughter went. Last year I saw a game at:
LAD, LAA, OAK, SAF, and SEA. My wife is a big ATL and MLB. This year went to: SEA, NYY, NYM, WAS, KC, and TX.
