    Jalynn Bristow Transferring

by levers you mean drop zone letting any team shoot at will and hope they miss. By levers, dribble for 20 secs and then shockingly pass to Crooks. By levers, have Brown post up who has no post game, and try to create. By levers, not use versatile guards and forwards on the roster but repeatedly...

Twister Sister Summary - Defense leads the way....again...

There are no adjustments to be made. It's opposing coaching adjustments vs our base offense. If we want better 2nd halves, it needs to be implemented in practice. Luckily our defense is improving to somewhat counter the inevitable slide.

She was playing the 5 in that lineup with Kane and Soares out. It was our normal offense.

***#14 Iowa State vs. #25 Villanova (Sunday, 2:30)***

3rd quarter+ is very easy to understand. We run such simple ISO offense prioritizing Joens and the Big. We don't change that ever. Opposing coaches can make easy adjustments to pressure entry passes and drop back in the paint and force ISU to shoot contested 3's. Just have to hope our defense...

3rd quarter when defense catches up to ISU ISO ball. No BF timeout can change that

Really good discipline by Soares keeping the ball on the over top entry. Followed by getting distracted the second time they tried to feed her.

    Villanova Pre-game Notes

It really doesn't matter how good they are. Donarski through the bench are limited by the offense. They are not allowed to utilize their high level skills or play connectors from the bench. The offense is simply Emily, Soares, and some screens for looks from Joens and that's it. The only time...

    Villanova Pre-game Notes

We played a lot longer than that bad basketball on both sides, it's just our competition was so bad it didn't matter. Our defense is nowhere it needs to be, but that is the one thing I think will drastically improve through conference play. I don't think our offense will get much better, but...
