Offense just needs to tighten up with passes. Sloppy post entry passes a few times.
Ashley is a terrific player and I’ll probably get killed for this but… this team to be their best needs her to stop forcing so many down low shots, kick the ball back out we have other terrific players.
She was playing the 5 in that lineup with Kane and Soares out. It was our normal offense.
Been saying we've needed someone outside of Ashley and Soares to play well against good teams and Ryan has been the one to step up today and it's the reason the 3rd wasn't a total disaster
The finished the quarter strong but still only scored 10 points. And it looked like for a bit Nova was going to get it close. We've struggled a lot in the 3rd all year so the concern was warranted
Most fans, including myself at times, are not emotionally equipped to watch basketball. It's so much more stressful than football because runs are so common and sometimes inexplicable.
I'm glad I don't panic at the drop of a hat like so many do. Bunch of folks in this thread would have been out of timeouts 5 minutes into the second half.
I think it's more just that we've seen some 3rd quarter meltdowns and it looked to be trending that way but the ladies responded which was good to see as they haven't always done that. Hopefully they're figuring some things out.
