    The only guy out of this group I worry about is Buxton. The guy just hasn't shown he can consistently hit big league pitching. Surprised Rocco doesn't at least have him bunt. The Twins need his all-world CF play, but Byron has to be some type of threat at the plate.

    Exactly. When I saw what these west coast kids where 'striking' for I thought it was absurdly high. With the limited negotiating power these players have, ask for something that you may be able to attain instead of these ridiculous demands that are sending some packing.

    One my favorite accent days was when I had to work at one of the dock warehouses in New Orleans. Strange mix of English, Creole, and something else. The supervisor there looked like the huge dude from the Green Mile. Only understood the last two words of every sentence which was-- "MotherF*****!"

    The Twins out pitched the Indians which surprised a few people. One of the best staffs they have had in a long time. Hopefully Donaldson's continuing calf problems don't bite the Twins long term. Bring on the Pirates.

    Most of the talking heads, including Tony, are now 'cautiously optimistic' that we'll have at least one vaccine by the end of the year. Moved up from earlier comments that it would be 'early next year'.

    Solid start by Dobnak. When Odo returns the Twins will definitely have a solid rotation. Actually, a very solid pitching staff overall.
