YouTube TV Issue
Correct, this is through the app on our LG tv. It is located under the 3 vertical dot settings option. I don’t see it as an option on the app on my phone. Also an option when using app through Roku -
YouTube TV Issue
Feel free to blast away if this is a “duh” fix. (It was a problem for me being non tech). The resolution within the app was set to ‘auto’ instead of a fixed resolution and YTTv was auto adjusting to like 480p despite a faster resolution available. I had to set it to either 720 or 1080. -

Price range would be 150-200k. Thinking more of a cabin or simple home in the woods. It is a battle of nostalgia. Going to a family cabin, family pictures on the wall, outweighs some of the math for me. I think I have an irrational attachment to MN for this reason!! -

That’s a good point. I struggle with the financial sense. You could rent a cabin once every summer and come out ahead. I grew up with access to one and I enjoy this every memories. That was a shared family cabin so financially much less constraining. -

It fascinates me that salaried employees feel like they have to “kill time” at work. If you have a peaks and valleys type job, go home/ do something else in the valleys. If you work hard during peaks why are you wasting your time on the other end? -

CenturyLink is a pain to setup, but once they finally got it going we have had no issues in DSM metro. If you are willing to put up with guaranteed frustration initially I’d say it’s worth it. We have ~17 mbps or something close for $45/mo (price for life as long as you don’t move) no issues...
