    Start of the Second Half Stat

    Just getting the ball inbounds is an adventure with this team. Our inbounds plays were terrible this year, and I think they have been since Prohm arrived. Seems like that is something that could be easily corrected.

    I like Kansas because their guards are far superior to Purdue's, and they are playing in the Sprint Center. I lean toward Gonzaga because I think they have enough ball handlers and skill players to handle that West Virginia press.

    I felt the same way sitting through a 4 hour game last Saturday! On that note, I wouldn't mind incorporating some NFL clock rules to speed up the game.

    WVU "injuries"

    I think all players who are hurt during a series (need assistance off the field) should be required to sit the reminder of that series. May not be fair all of the time, but might combat the fake injury issue. Those injuries really hurt our momentum!

    Same old offense?

    I was surprised we didn't ever throw to a tight end, and that we didn't get a little more creative in the running game knowing our offensive line is a weakness. I was also thinking we would throw some quick hitters to the WRs to gain some short yardage in place of running the ball...like Texas...

    More than anything, this case to me showed how difficult it can be to prosecute someone if the defendant has enough $$$ to hire the right legal team. There is probably reasonable doubt in 90% of murder cases, particularly if the defense can get the right jury to sympathize with the defendant...

    I've always contended that KU gets all the breaks during the regular season, and then when they get to the Dance they don't get the favorable calls the majority of the time.
