Kansas will be fine next year and will win the league by about three games, barring a major injury. We've lost WAY more than this from season to season and been fine. Newman, Graham and Azubuike are going to be fantastic next year.On paper, I agree however I think WVU will be ahead in standings over Texas. Shaka has to prove to me he can win with talent in the Big 12.
With what Kansas is losing, I could see a pesky/physical WVU team giving them fits for the title this year.

Isaiah Maurice-6’10 RS/Fr PF-Transferring after the 2nd semester of the 2016-17 school year , http://www.kstatesports.com/sport/m-baskbl/2015/roster/5595b14ee4b0c720840d7d0f , averaged 3.0 ppg/2.0 rpg during the 2016-17 season , http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/3912845/isaiah-maurice
I still think Azubuike is a question mark.
Jack Whitman gone from KU
Looks like KU very good chance to land Mitchell Robinson now. LSU is out of it. Visiting KU this weekend and then making a decision. I think the other rout he could go is overseas.
Robinson would still need a waiver to play this year which is far from a sure thing. If he commits to KU and is forced to sit this year he may just enter the NBA draft next year regardless as he's still projected to be a 1st rd pick.
I wouldn't be surprised to not see him play college basketball at this point no matter especially since he hasn't ruled out playing overseas.
