Lot of "smoke" out there that Auburn could be looking for a new FB coach here soon. Also "smoke" that it is due to a situation similar to Bobby Petrino at Arkansas without the motorcycle crash.

That was never a great hire. That was the AD trying to regain control from boosters IMO about the process. Harsin's reputation proceeded him so I'm not sure why they thought it was a great choice

Good question. Odd that the coordinator that resigned this week stated that he needed a break from coaching. Something is going on there that isn't right.

Well...tempting would be an understatement! So...did the coordinator who just quit get in trouble for covering this up...or was he tired of covering this up? Or didn't like the culture of that that creates?

I am guessing they quit because they found out about it and didn't want to be there? The new OC was just hired in December. Then he hired a new DC and they guy left before he even got there and took a job with Miami instead.
