Weird matchings. ISU heads to a pod with 3 Florida schools?

San Diego has one loss on the year and is the number two team in the country and wind up with a 2 seed and will have to travel to Stanford. Nice to see that school names carry weight in volleyball as well.

They were #9 in the RPI so it isn’t terribly surprising, schedule strength is the issue. Personally I’ll be rooting for them to make a run.

Here are the final RPI rankings. ISU finished at 31 and perhaps got a break with a 6 seed and avoided going to Minny, Wisky and NU the first weekend.

Feel bad for Drake who finished 62 and lost in 5 sets to UNI in the MVC tourney final with the final set going 15-13. Ball St was one of the last 4 in with the highest RPI of those at 51.

The official Cyclones.com page says these matches are going to be streamed on the SEC Network+. That sucks. Why can't ESPN show them to anyone with an ESPN+ subscription? Hopefully they change this, seems kind of dumb to lock these into a single conference streaming package.

SEC Network+ IS ESPN+. It's the SEC's version of Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

You can calm down.

I feel like Houston made it to some random fb algorithm of fantastic libero moves or crazy rally I happened across last week or so.
