Last I heard Jimbo's buyout was like $90M.

They could probably find the money, but as long as Texas isn't a playoff team, then that buys the A&M AD another year.

Once the Longhorns join the SEC, the pressure bumps up.

Yeah I watched that Oregon Washington game and Lanning is a gambler on offense. Entertaining team.

Makes you wonder if he'll get a pay bump with B1G money?

Think Jimbo is the obvious answer now.

Day still needs to beat MI, but he bought some goodwill with that ND win

Jimbo is losing the fan love, but that huge contract is a lot to eat. Take at least a couple of oil millionaires to pay that bill

It’s more than just buying out Jimbo, it’s also buying out the new coaches contract, whatever that amount is.
