Just watched, holy **** LMAO. Looks great on NFL scout film. Dude hasn't kicked a FG single high school and played only lower level college soccer before this.

Both of those were good from 70. No problem.

Well that was a kick in the stones. Can't get the stop on 4th down, they give up a 64 yarder to a guy that hasn't kicked a field goal since high school.

There will be more people there next week back un St Louis.

"Two" 64-yard FGs last week that would have been good from 70, and just kicked a 62-yard FG now. Bates is gonna be kicking in the NFL later this year. No way teams are going to look away from that kind of consistency at that kind of range.

STL attendance exceeded the entire UFL combined week one. It is definitely a different, and better broadcast when the stands are full.

So glad the Battlehawks overcame the terrible PI call (which led to 6 undeserved points for Arlington). Pretty cool we could hear Anthony Becht's conversation with the ref after that sequence. Becht is a pretty cool customer. I wonder if he'd ever consider coaching a college team.

I talked to him while he was waiting for Rocco after a game last year. He’s a pretty nice guy. Pretty reserved compared to what you see on TV. Cool cat.

Gotta say I love the transparency of this league. Hopefully the NFL adopts some of the things the UFL refs do.

Anthony Becht, AJ McCarron, etc. are super easy to root for along with our Cyclones.
