Hell of a start for Sinner. Wins 1st set 6-1.
Sinner needs to try and win this in 3. If djokovic gets a set and settles it's going to be tough for Sinner to close the door. I've seen djokovic come out shaky but he almost always settles at some point

Can Sinner finish the deal? Novak is playing absolutely awful tennis BUT this is still somehow a tall order to finish this for Sinner. Jannik needs to jump on him quick here.

Welp toughest task here. Beating Novak in a tiebreak in a major.

Woof and a blown match point from Sinner. Heading to bed but won’t shock me one bit to wake up and find out Novak pulled this off.

Sinner really botched that tiebreak with a couple of loose and nervy points.

Wow woke up and was pleasantly surprised. Good for Jannik. I didn’t think he had what was needed between the ears to beat Novak in Melbourne. I will have to catch a replay of Set 4 to see how it all went down.

Medvedev comes back from 2 sets down to beat Zverev. That has to be tough for Zverev to get over. Up 2 sets and then loses 2 sets in a tie-breaker.

Total toss-up in the Men's final I think this will be a very competitive match either way. I'm going to pick Sinner in 5. Medvedev has played a lot more tennis to get to this point

I'm already rethinking this. The guy who wins in 5 that's who I'm picking

Meddy Bear killed him mentally when Sasha was up 5-4 after Medvedev's double fault in the 4th set tiebreaker and was delivered an absolute bunny of of a 1st serve. Sasha a little tight at the absolute worst time.

Zverev has got to be able to get mentally tougher. It’s easier said than done, but it’s truly the thing that puts guys over the top. These top guys are all insanely talented, that’s not the issue. Sinner did it finally with his win, but Zverev lost the US Open being up 2 sets to love against Thiem. And he really lets Medvedev get in his head so easily.

Loved seeing Sinner pull that off. If you are Medvedev you are absolutely sick. At least he does have a slam because otherwise being the only man to lose a 2 sets to love lead in a slam final twice would be really hard to deal with. And it happened on the same court again. His loss to Nadal here a few years ago was brutal.
