What year is TJs current contract through?
EDIT: found it, assuming it hasn't changed since last year:
Otzelberger's contract now extends through June 30, 2029, and his total compensation will increase to $2.5M on July 1, 2023, $3M on July 1, 2024 and $3.5M on July 1, 2025, followed by $100,000 increases for each subsequent contract year. All other terms of his original contract remain unchanged.
Also, from original contract (I think):
Otzelberger will receive a bonus if the Cyclones are one of the top four seeds in the Big 12 Tournament come the end of the regular season. If they are the No. 1 seed, the bonus will be worth $250,000.
Winning the conference tournament would also grant Otzelberger an additional $100,000. An at-large NCAA Tournament bid would result in $50,000, including $50,000 more for each win in the tournament.
For comparison (again, from last year):
Big 12 Conference coaching salaries
- Bill Self, Kansas $5.9 million
- Chris Beard (former Texas) $5.0
- Bob Huggins, West Virginia $4.2 million
- Scott Drew, Baylor $3.7 million
- Jamie Dixon, TCU, $3.5 million
- Mark Adams, Texas Tech $3.1 million
- Mike Boynton, Oklahoma State $3.0 million
- Porter Moser, Oklahoma $2.8 million
- Jerome Tang, Kansas State, $2.1 million
- T.J. Otzelberger, Iowa State $2.0 million
