Disagree. Play for the win.
you really thought we were winning that? Okay so we miss a shot, they make free throws.....we make a three....they make free throws.....repeat the cycle over and over and we still lose by 6-8 points.

This isn't Texas A&M vs UNI

Not a good night. But it was sure nice to see Bristow have a breakout game on offense. 100% from 3 and overall.

If TAM followed your strategy, UNI would have won!

After games like this, I am reminded of Yogi Berra's comment about "baseball is 90% mental and the other half is physical." Somehow, some people forget how incredibly difficult it is to get into the right frame of mind game in and game out in high level competitive sports. We are reminded of this in professional sports when great players have a bad game, or are "in a slump." It's what makes true superstars so unique because somehow they are able to play at an extremely high level game after game after game. It is no surprise that our MBB and WBB teams have off nights this week. If you are way above your competition skill-wise, you can have an off night and still win. If you are a good team, like us, we need to be mentally "on" in order to win most games. Maybe we should be surprised our men and women are "on" as often as they are rather than surprised when they are "off." All I know is I'm still 100% behind these women; they will bounce back but life it tough in the B12.

Is what it is. Sometimes these nights happen. Tech made a ton of threes and had a player play out of her mind in the first half. Yes we we had an entire second half to go and they didn’t shoot nearly as well from three, but nine in the first half allowed them to do what they did. Nights like these happen, and it’s the life in college hoops.

only on ISU
Well, I think Tech got 2-4 I "feel". Just seemed like about 2X as many on ISU and we do a terrible job getting our money's worth. If you're going to get a foul and don't put them on their butts you're doing it wrong.

D was way too slow on close outs tonight. TT averages 6 three pointers per game on 32% shooting. 13-29 tonight (45%).

Disappointing loss for sure. But we are looking better than most of us imagined pre-season. This week off might be good medicine in the long run.

I hope the loss stews with them and they come out re-focused and ready to kick azz since we have two more tough road games up next.

Anything that could be done poorly was done poorly from a team standpoint. Worse defensive effort of the season. Who wants to join me starting a collection to send both Bill and TJ to the best perimeter defense coach we can find for some intense instruction?
Team seemed off and Bill seemed in la la land most of the night just standing with arms crossed and a blank look

Oh well, still 6-1 in conference

Have to be within 6 by 2:00. Not a good chance of the happening with their fire.

Brown gets a foul not called on the other end all night. Geesh.
Browns 3 fouls that I saw were ridiculous. All the offensive fouls they seemed to have gotten a memo. Flush this one TT will never shoot this well ever again.

The last two nights seemed to reaffirm what has frustrated my about ISU basketball recently:

Why do we seem to so rarely get open perimeter shots? Other teams get plenty of them on us, but it doesn't seem to go the other way very often.
