Besides the obvious, I'm surprised how low K State is. Feels like UCF could be a sleeping giant in this new era.

Well, ISU has the second to lowest avg. player ranking in the league among HS recruits only above BYU.

Now, ISU did do a great job retaining guys, which isn't quantified but should be.
Yeah I don't disagree with having the 2nd lowest avg plays into it, but we also have the second most commits (BYU has the most) . If we only look at averages, colorado is #1 at 92 avg but only have 7 commits

People always post this stuff like it’s new. It’s always going to be this way.

What kills me is in basketball when we have nationally elite freshman class and/or transfers both the national media and our own fans are still skeptical of ISU. We get skepticism no matter what.

I was telling people all off season that if you can't think ISU is going to be good in basketball this season in the new era where teams all start over every year, they'll never have a reason for optimism again.

At least our Quarterback recruiting is on point. Other than that, we kind of suck. Hoepfully we can coach up some players.

A little better but I am concerned a little. Recruiting rankings are not exact, but they are better than most give credit. Classes are a reflection of 2 years ago success as most recruitment right now is heaviest as a late sophomore and junior in high school.

A 8-9 win season this fall is really needed
