Not sure I totally agree with this. I bet there are a lot of meteorologists and future meteorologists that read this site and they would be focused on local weather.

I believe that the forecast, alamanc information, current conditions, etc. on Weather Underground all come directly from the National Weather Service.

20% chance and we get 2 inches. 2 80%+ chances in the last week and we get 0. To some when the forcast is wrong it is no big deal, but to some of us try to plan what we do off the forecast.

Just so you know, the % chance of rain has absolutely nothing to do with how much rain you should expect.

You do live in Iowa, right? Around here, forecasts are just suggestions as weather can change so quickly.
