Steve Alford's New Mexico Lobos were up 9 points with less than 4 minutes to play yesterday against Creighton in Omaha, and managed to lose by 7 points.
Although a few fans from the student section booed/heckled and a couple folks in the upper bowl did a little jeering, the crowd wasn't as raucous towards Eddie Munster as I expected.
On a side note, Alford looked like he had gained a few pounds since his departure from Iowa. He probably developed a pretty good ulcer worrying about job security at Iowa for almost a decade.
