The Valley QB is fun to watch that is for sure. I wonder what his college sport preference is?

Both of these teams ranked I'd guess?

Some good talent running around out there.

Ankeny is #1. Valley is #8.

Ankeny started the year #1, but lost a close one early to Dowling. Southeast Polk started either #2 or #3 and pounded both Dowling and Valley, and was #1 for a while. Abu Sama (SEP RB/CB and Iowa State commit) got hurt against Waterloo East or some ****. Ankeny then pounded SEP, and jumped back to #1.

I feel like Ankeny is very good, obviously, but they play to their competition a bit, and got burned already. Never should have lost to Dowling, and now Valley is hanging a bit with them, which again shouldn’t happen.

Abu Sama, BTW, just ran for his 3rd TD of the night against Linn-Mar. This is his first game back since the injury.

He’s the most athletic/explosive in-state commit we have coming in, and it’s not particularly close.
