I am torn. I don't like anything that helps OU football. However, seeing Dapper Dan Kingsbury squirm is too good to miss.

So why is he immediately eligible. Just because he was a walk-on at both? Transfer rules don't apply to non-schollie players?

OU already has a solid back-up QB in RS Frosh Cody Thomas and given that Knight is only a RS Soph, Mayfield was an idiot to transfer to OU. He could have been a starter for several other quality programs, including P5 programs like TCU and Texas as well as Group of 5 programs like SMU.
