Love the Decorah area. Pulpit Rock is great beer, Toppling Goliath amazing for a little town !
Cool waterfalls to visit also.

Pulpit and TG are definitely tough to beat. I really enjoy Pivo as a change of pace, and it's not nearly as crowded. They aren't as into chasing the newer trends, and make beers that appeal beyond the beer snob market.

If you're into biking, the Root River Trail in Minnesota offers some fun brewery options. I really enjoy Karst in Fountain, which is probably 45 minutes from Decorah, but if you're riding that trail, you could access the trail closer to Decorah.

would love to go back to Ashville. Last time I only got to check out wicked weed because the power was out across the city and we were only stopping through on our way back from Charleston.
I’ll add Burlington VT and surrounding area to the list. Some great beer throughout VT and you could do a trip around the state in a few days.
