Didn't spend a lot of time on it but it appears from a few quick scenarios on mred's site http://bball.notnothing.net/big12.php?sport=mbb
that unless Oklahoma wins out and TCU wins at least two of remaining games, we will not fall to the #8 spot and thus will not be playing on Wednesday in KC.
We should end up anywhere from #5 to #7.

biggest thing is I think we're (basically) out of the clear of that Wednesday night game although I think it could still happen

From what I can tell, as long as ISU doesn’t finish 0-3, it's at least a 7 seed.

If we do finish 0-3, wed be in 8/9 if:
1 OU wins out
AND
2 TCU wins at least once

There could be some other combo involving tie-breakers that I didn’t find.

FWIW, apparently 9th seed is un-possible (both OU and TCU have to play WVa).

Woof. Talk about a kick in the nuts if it happens.
