It sucks big-time that Kurt Backes is seeded 4th. He has to wrestle an extra match . . . such a huge disadvantage.

Anyone else having trouble with the TakedownRadio.com feed? FSN North in MN decided to play other stuff instead of the Big 12 tourney (uhhh). So I'm left with not only radio, but one that wants to buffer/not play every couple minutes....

haha. yeah. That'd be a pretty good analogy. especially since it was 16-0. the other guy didn't get ANY action on backes. If you think - lots of great matches end at the 7 minute mark with a score of 3-2, 5-4, etc

Used to watch Cael do his patented "take 'em down - let'em up" routine - how do you accumulate that many points without letting the guy get loose?

well, it all has to do with near fall points, and stale-mates. for instance, you take the guy down, 2pts. Eventually you get him turned for a 2pt or 3pt fall, but not quite enough for a pin. The guy eventually gets rolled over, and action stops. Ref calls a stale-mate, and the wrestler who almost got pinned starts down. Backes, on top, rolls him over again, and gets more near fall points. etc
