As someone who doesn’t follow wrestling, wasn’t this team horrible last year? Is Dresser the CMC of wrestling or what happened?

They were definitely showing promise last year, you could see that. This year they've done really well, but still have a lot of tough matches ahead (UNI and Mizzou). If they beat UNI they should finish 2nd in the Big 12 (behind Okie St).

The plan is to stop on way back from Aau state. Guessing many will and wouldn't be shocked to see Dresser in Des Moines promoting it sometime during the wrestling.

We were pretty bad last year, but had a couple of guys redshirting (Gomez, Coleman), were waiting on a transfer to become eligible (Mackall), and were fortunate to land a 3-time AA grad transfer (Milus). But, the style of wrestling we are seeing and the overall improvement of essentially every wrestler has been impressive. I would say Dresser would be the CMC of wrestling, but at the same time Iowa State at least had a history of being a powerhouse in wrestling whereas we have historically been awful at football

Did we ever find out why Derek St. John was on crutches?
