Yikes. Glad to know a huge plane can make those moves if it needs to do so, but I can't imagine being a passenger while it was doing them.

That pilot was probably having fun with that. It isn't too often a passenger plane will make that type of angle in a non-emergency situation.

Over 200,000 pounds lighter without full fuel tanks, passengers and luggage so it should have LOTS of power.

Don't think it could come close to doing this with a full load.

It can do it...once ;)

Nerd alert- if you watch the video of this from the runway side you can see that as they pull back farther the outer spoilers automatically deploy on the trailing edge time reduce wing loading.

The dreamliner is an amazing aircraft. Super quiet and you can't even feel that you are flying most of the time. It looks unnatural to see the wings curve so much when it is in the air. If you have a choice while booking a flight definitely take the 787.
