I actually talked to the wife about possibly attending my first ISU bowl game but only if it's a warm weather bowl so we could get a mini vacation. oh well

Memphis in December usually isn’t that bad. The game against them several years back was a true anomaly. It was freezing but I had a hell of a time with my Dad. Was an awesome experience.

Yes especially for the beaches. Clearwater is nice. Only thing you have to worry about is the Scientology compound. Fricking weird place with the store fronts that aren’t real but just recruitment centers.

But if you like seafood go get some blackened grouper sandwiches.

I'd grab an RV spot at MacDill then travel to all the cool things I'd do in the area. Yes, that includes Clearwater. I'd also do this the next time we play in Orlando.
