if its not broke, dont fix it. Maybe you could set a cap at 2 mil and once one reaches that height they can be considered a rep god
Negative ones?
My money is on Copenhagen, though he might be making a comeback.Yeah, I think cyadict wants to see how low you can go - I remember discombubulated lost his tail :wacko:and other parts and southernhawk had some tough times:dull:until he explained his background. Roger Sprague:twitcy: (God bless the earth for guys like him) drew the ire of the group. So who set the alltime low point on this board? They should receive an award - like a giant finger.:wubclub:
Hey one observation. Can you put commas in rep like you have in credits? Like 1M would be 1,000,000 instead of 100000, easier to read.
We got it...I understand...you have over a million rep points. Do you have to make it any more obvious?
I agree that the numbers are getting a little inflated. I like the system overall as a means to add credibility and keep conversations somewhat in check. I wouldn't be opposed to converting rep back to a consistent number per rep given, if that is possible. Or start over, but give a trophy of some sort based on the level of rep achieved before the change over. Yes, I want a trophy. It's all about the trophy.
I'm pretty sure he's looking ahead to 10,000,000 :notworthy:. At that point the comma becomes critical to distinguish the true leaders from those that have a mere 1 million, let along the loosers that haven't even reached a million
The rep level detracts from the experience because it makes me hesitant to contribute because some people take it seriously and won't consider my point of view when compared with the massive rep levels of some of the folks who are on here 24/7.
You know... coming back to this, I am having a change of heart, with Rep inlfating as fast as it has. It took us close to 2 years to get to 1M rep, and now in 3 weeks we have 2M. 3M is going to be in like 2 weeks. Is it going to be a race to a billion now?
I say convert to credits and allow people to rep each other cycredits or something that has value.
