Here's an impact player that has plenty of eligibility left. Transferring from UK and a native of Chicago, why not come closer to home and play for the cyclones.

Class of 2015, so think he's a true freshman, so redshirt and three years to play.

6'-6" guard - yes please!!!!

Go get him Coach...

After we get Romello White we wont have room for him.

Doesn't Matthews have to sit out a year?
Yes, but he'd still be on scholarship this year.
Unless he wants to take the Jameel route and pay his own way this year. But I'm sure he'll have about any school in the country to play for, so that seems unlikely.

Lol technically correct but Chicago to Ames v.s. Chicago to Lexington is only about a 30 mile difference when driving. But definitely a good transfer possibility.

I would definitely give it a shot. If he's interested, take the first one to commit between him and Romello.

This belongs in the random facts thread. Or if there is one, the "I suck at geography" thread because I didn't realize it was that little of a difference.

This reminds me of when ISU was in on Trent Lockett as a transfer and people spent days arguing about whether it would be easier for him to get home from ISU or Marquette.
