Looking at that had to be similar to whatever poor sap in the Registrar's office had to verify I had the credits to graduate and then saw how many times I changed majors.

What's really amazing is he has two years of eligibility left.

2020 = COVID year at FSU
2021 = Redshirt freshman year at FSU
2022 = Freshman year at Nebraska
2023 = Sophomore year at Nebraska
2024 = Junior
2025 = Senior

Lots of people go to college for seven years.

He's still got two to play!

So if he follows the coach to Arizona, he would come back to Jack Trice to play.

Its looking like Fifta is likely to stay at Arizona, according to some reports today. Which is a major coup for the new head coach and assistants that are staying. That makes it pretty likely Purdy won't be transferring to Arizona unless he's comfortable being second in line at QB.

November 2018 Louisville fires Bobby Petrino (Before Chubba committed so probably wasn't recruited by Petrino's staff)
December 2018 - Louisville hires Scott Satterfield

June 2019 commits to Louisville
Dec 2019 - Florida State hires Mike Norvell
Dec 2019 decommits from Louisville and commits to Florida St
Nov 2021 leaves FSU
Jan 2022 commits to Nebraska
September 2022 - Scott Frost fired from Nebraska
Dec 21 2023 enters portal
Jan 14 2024 commits to San Jose St
Jan 16 2024 San Jose St coach leaves for Arizona

What a ride

Maybe this isn't all that uncommon with so many coaching changes in college football, but Chubba has seen a head coach leave or get fired, or been part of a new coach at basically school he's been to.

It Chubba would like to start I’d suggest he stay put at SJSU and bust his butt for the new staff.
Similar thoughts.....and same with the idea being close to Brock....would be great to see him (and Brock could sometimes support).

I never was a D1 qb...but you'd think at this time he would know his "skill level" after several schools and would want to truly have a shot to play and wonder is SJSU wouldn't be easier than AZ for PT?

Really feel for the kid. Great person but not a big conference starter. Made a good choice to go down a level, and that still bites him in the ass. Can't catch a break.

I mean Jedd Fisch has a bad overall record.

Based on my 3 days of knowledge of Fisch, he gives off a Chizik vibe to me. He spoke to the team for 3 minutes. He’s been a job hopper. I don’t see how the hire works out for Washington.

It works because he can coach and he is a good salesman. Those ate the two main ingredients

Also, Fisch’s Alma mater is Florida. There’s a good chance that job opens next year. Fisch has never displayed loyalty during his career. He will jump in a millisecond from Washington to Florida
