Yesterday was rough watching Babb and Shayok, and it only added fuel to the fire hearing the commentators bring up Shayok looking lethargic.
Here's the offensive production we're seeing, points wise, in February from our seniors.
Babb is currently shooting 3-12, 4-10, 2-8, 4-13, 1-7, and 4-8 from the field, 31%. 4 of Babb's worst 6 shooting performances have occurred this month. The other 2 were Illinois and UNO.
Shayok is currently shooting 2-5, 8-17, 5-16, 7-17, 5-10, and 3-14 from the field, 38%. 4 of Shayok's worst 5 shooting performances have occurred this month. The other was Oklahoma State.
One way to look at it -
Babb has shot the ball 58 times from the field in February resulting in just 44 points.
Shayok has shot the ball 79 times from the field in February resulting in just 58 points.
To compare, our lowest scoring game this year, the team scored just 51 points from the field off of 50 shots.
They'll definitely get out of this funk, but we will only go where these guys take us.
