Which player is your X factor for the game tomorrow? I’ve been thinking and I’m going to go with O’Rien Vance.
He’s had a quiet year but he’s been consistent. I would use him to spy Ellinger and take away his run threat. Vance might have another quiet game on the stat sheet but still play a very important role in a win over the Longhorns.

Who ya got?

Jirehl Brock. Got his first action in the slot last game and this game he busts one. Have to find the slot guy quickly when Texas blitzes, which will be often, even against the run.

Brock Purdy. Can we get him in rhythm early? Can he help open the run game again? I thought that was huge early in the KState game and lacking most of the season. We're going to need to avoid blitz situations, and when they do bring heat he's going to have to burn them a few times.

It's on Purdy. If Purdy of last week shows up, we'll win the game. If Purdy from the first half of the Baylor game shows up, we'll lose.
