I'd just like to add to this that it also happens using tube google chrome browser on the iPhone 5. This problem has picked up dramatically for me in the last few days.

It's an ad network glitch that is common across platforms. Code problem opens a popup ad in new window or redirects to app store. On Android, it is coming from an ad site called adtrack.king.com. I haven't found a permanent solution for it, clearing phone cache takes care of it until you load another web page using adking ads, then it happens again. CF uses adking ads.

I have been seeing redirects also.

Why did this start becoming a problem over the last few days?

It's the CW-on-Vacation malware. But it also yields commits, so I'm good with that.

(I experienced it too on my iPhone 5 earlier today)

This is an issue that is becoming prevalent on many sites as ad-networks find new ways to do things that the site owners have little control over. We can try tracking down the ads that are causing it and adding them to the blacklist, but it might take some time. Thanks guys for the notification.

Didn't stick. I am doing a factory reset of my phone right now to attempt to be rid of this thing. I hate you so much, adking.com.
