Disney World Vacation

My family leaves on Sunday. Will be gone until the 21st. My only question is this: what is the best IPA I will find? I'm going to need many.

Not an IPA but I always stock up on Yuengling when I go to Disney World. They serve it at a lot of the restaurants there too.

You'll have to probably leave Disney property to find an IPA. It's all Yuengling and then the major brands. We stayed on property and I just ran to a liquor store and picked up a weeks worth of beers for the room. Again, it was all the Bud/Miller/Coors brands though.

I'm sure if I searched I could have found something better, but I'd never had Yuengling before and it wasn't half bad.

I always get a coupe of cases of Kuengling from NY relatives during the holiday season. I'm hoping Dogfish Head distributes to Florida.

i answered my own question. I will find 90 minute IPA with no problems.

German house at Epcot has good beer. Proly not an IPA though.

Hit up a Publix if you can't find a decent liquor store. I was in Daytona Beach last December and the Publix there had a pretty decent beer selection.

Oh man I love Disney World.

No, I believe the OP is going to Disney Word. It's a lot like Disney World, but it promotes literacy. So, I guess, nothing like Disney World.

If the rain doesn't stop your beer budget is going to double. I'm in FL (Captiva) now and there's not much else to do.

Hopefully you'll be here before the tropical storm hits. Weather has been hot and muggy. Crowds have been down but could change by the weekend.

Rose and Crown Bar at Epcot is THE drinking hole at all of Disney. We've spent a lot of time there...great beer, entertainment and an English Pub. It's a must do!!

Speaking of beer. My friends and I are doing the world tour this weekend. Going around to every country at Epcot World Showcase and trying out their beer. Pretty fun time if people are ever down here.

I see recommendations for places in Germany and England at World Showcase, why stop there when you can go drinking around the world? Each country has its own signature drink, so you just drink your way around the lake. Google it for details.

Have fun! We'll be at Disney next Wednesday through the 21st...will keep my eyes peeled for the little green fellow with a cane rocking a Cyclones jersey and all hopped up at the beer garden :yes:

You should also checkout The Boardwalk just outside Epcot. There is an ESPN Club and an amazing bakery. You can get there by going out the back entrance to Epcot in between the England and France pavilions. They usually have free street performers like magicians and mimes. One of the best (and only) free things you can do at Disney World.

Boardwalk (outside of Epcot) has a nice little micro-brewery. They do have an IPA there as well.

Going to Disney on the 15th through the 19th and then back again in November for the half marathon!

Might check out Downtown Disney as well. Can't wait to see all these Cyclones running around here. I've seen too many Iowa fans the last couple of days. If any of you see a tall Disney Horticulture guy wearing glasses at Animal Kingdom come say hi. It will likely be me.

Went to Disney World last summer and had a blast. Except for the hordes of rude Brazilian teen tour groups. But that could be a different thread unto itself. Bring plenty of beer with you. You'll be glad you did.
