From watching a majority of our players, on most occasions they were behind the men's line, so I don't see it being as big a deal to us as maybe some other teams.

the women need to step up to a full sized ball too. Id love to see the shooting percentages with a ball that is bigger.

Since men basketball players are on average bigger and taller than women players, it makes sense that the ball is slightly smaller for their smaller hands.

I can't find anything definitive but estimates of a male average is 6'3 to 6'6 and female average of 5'10 to 5'11.

Novice ISU womens bball fan here. I know we generally live or die with the outside shot, but does this hurt or help? If we had a dominant inside game I don't think it would really matter, but I can't help to think this is bad news at first glance.

One point I think everyone forgets, but has been alluded to, is defense. Teams have to come out to the line and cover us. If it is further out that extends the defense and opens up the inside.
