So Keonte Jones didn't RS? He only played in two games and for a kid who could really use some extra lbs (he's around 160 vs KMC just under 200) that extra year would have been big.

Keonte shows up on the Participation list for Akron, so yes his redshirt was burned. Too bad because he played very very little it appears.

Actually the only other game he played was Kansas. Surprisingly a seemingly wasted year by this staff. Perhaps he just didn't want to be 2 years behind his brother and coach said OK, but you won't likely play much.
