anyone ever seen el presidente beer in iowa or better yet the Ankeny area? i called a couple of liquor stores but no one knew if its even available in Iowa.

Cyclone Liquors in Ames claims that if they don't have it, they'll get it as long as it's legal in Iowa. Don't know if you consider that Ankeny area though.

Did you try I-35 Liquor? I wouldn't know if they had it but just saw that they were open in Ankeny now.

I drank about 10 gallons of it a day when we were in the Dominican Republic a month ago. It's okay, but I would definitely not go out of your way to get it.
