With the late tip time and the only other games with ranked teams really early in the day I think it could happen.

KU @ OU is at 1:30 (ESPN)
UK @ South Carolina is at 11 (ESPN)
Wisconsin @ Maryland is at 5:30 (ESPN)
Texas @ ISU 7:30 (ESPN)

Did you see this game last time they played? It was perfect for Gameday. My guess is they go to Norman.

I think we found out last year that the game day game doesn't have to be at night. (Not sure what school it was). But it seems like we've got a shot at it.

Unless they want to make it a point to do a game in Hilton with the way it went last year. This game is undoubtedly the best Saturday game left. Also, is there a limit to the number of times a team can be on Gameday each year? Because I think ESPN really wants that ISU/KU game at the end of the season for Gameday.

With how much ESPN slobs on the Hilton Magic knob I really wouldn't be surprised if they came up for that 2nd tier game...

I wonder if that happened if we would get anywhere close to the turnout we had last year?

That's a good question. I doubt it though given the opponent being the second year of Hilton getting a game day. I could see ESPN sending it to Ames because the opponent is Texas.

Gameday will definitely be in Norman. It's a no brainer. KU/OU the first time was one of the best games ever during the regular season. They want all the HYPE for round two of that matchup.

Unless they just don't do GameDay for early games this is a non-question. KU @ OU might be their easiest choice ever. Other than UK @ KU last week. :)

They would of flexed OU/KU to the prime time slot of that was the game they were planning on doing for Gameday.

Only thing about KU @ OU is the 130 tip. Gameday runs from 10am-11am on TV. Say they get everyone cleared out of the arena by 1130. Pretty sure its an NCAA rule that the teams get 2 hours for shoot around before the game. With a 130 tip that's going to be pushing it really close.

also, I found this via http://mattsarzsports.blogspot.com/2015/11/notable-mens-basketball-television.html
that ESPN pre determined most of the games. this site has 5 dates listed and of the 3 selected Gameday sites so far all 3 have been night tips.
